Buch - "Harley Davidson V-ROD"
Only In German
Manufacturer details: Huber-Verlag
Since 1980, the flagship publication BIKERS NEWS has been THE German biker and rocker magazine. Nobody could have guessed what it would one day become. The cover photo of the 12-page magazine shows a rather bored-looking Udo Lindenberg. After a brief introduction, there was the rally calendar, two pages of nostalgic motorcycle ads, one item under Club News, and seven small ads. This was the birth of a magazine that went on to chart an irresistible rise to fame.
The eight magazines from the Huber publishing house are produced entirely in-house. Around 75 full-time staff in the editorial office, graphic design and the subscriptions department plus more than 150 freelance reporters are responsible for production and sales of the magazines and books.

Only In GermanBook - Harley Davidson "V-ROD"
- This book traces the development of the world's first power cruiser. It shows breathtaking conversions, gives useful tips on tuning and buying second-hand, and presents the entire V-Rod family in words and pictures. Includes the latest 2014 models! A must-have for fans of pure style on two wheels
- June 2001: When the V-Rod hit the scene, the 21st century began for Harley-Davidson, slightly late. It marked a revolution for the Motor Company from Milwaukee: the short-stroke V2 engine had a 60° cylinder angle, four-valve cylinder heads, two overhead camshafts per cylinder and water cooling.
- So apart from the shape, just about everything was different from any of the V-twins to emerge from
Milwaukee since 1909. The rest of the machine is also a big change from all the two- and three-wheel machines produced in the firm's century-long history.
