Headwave TAG, the world's first Concert Capsule that transforms the whole helmet into a private concert hall. It is waterproof, impact-resistant and adapts itself to every shape and size of motorcycle helmet. Installation is straightforward with no wiring required. How does TAG work?

TAG uses sound vibrations which are generated by tactile transmission. It is therefore fastened to the outside of the helmet. Due to its adaptable form, TAG fits all available helmet sizes and shapes. Because TAG attaches to the outside and not the inside of the helmet, neither the fit nor wearer comfort is affected.

Using a high-performance tape which has been specially optimised for the form of the TAG, the attachment takes less than a minute: peel off protective film, affix to the recommended area on the helmet. That's it, all done. The tape has been specially developed for the automotive industry so that external components can be safely attached to a car. Even at 300 km/h, there is no risk of TAG coming loose. Following use, the tape can be removed without any additional tools and without leaving marks on the old helmet.

What does it sound like?

The music comes from all directions. Headwave refers to this as Environmental Listening. It gives the listener the impression of being in the middle of a private concert, hence the expression "Concert Capsule". The vibrations also generate powerful base frequencies which makes the music practically tactile. The ambient sound is utterly outstanding.

Founder Sophie Willborn: TAG is the only system worldwide that was specially developed for music inside the helmet. It will bring about a long-term change in that motorcycle feeling.
With her motorcycle license fresh in her bag, her initial tour experiences made something very clear to her: I also want to be able to listen to music when I'm riding my motorcycle. Upon researching the subject, she soon discovered that all available systems either had cables hanging out, completely blocked the ears or were only designed for telephone calls. She quickly reached the conclusion: listening to music at an acoustically appealing level is simply not possible with these systems. The idea to develop HEADWAVE was born.

It took many months of design and development work and countless hours of testing and refining prototypes to reach the ultimate version of the TAG, uncompromising in its design, technology and sound quality. A system developed by bikers for bikers. Designed in Berlin. Made in Germany.
