The negative pressure elbow connects the Scottoiler vSystem (see matching articles) with the engine vacuum. This part is essential to establish the vacuum connection and is connected to the vacuum hose (-> to the reservoir) and a corresponding adapter / T-piece or a vacuum connection directly on the motorbike.
